Initial Session (70 min): $225

Follow-up Session (55 min): $180

If you're not with one of these companies, I can take out-of-pocket payment. I can also give you a “superbill,” which some insurance companies will use to reimburse you directly.

Prior to working together, please check your insurance coverage for nutrition counseling:

Give your insurance provider a call and ask the following:

• Does my plan cover nutrition counseling (CPT codes 97802 and 97803)?

• Is nutrition counseling covered as a preventative benefit or a medical benefit?

  • Are there specific medical diagnoses that are not covered?

  • How many visits per year are covered?

  • Do I need a nutrition referral from a provider?

• Do I need to meet a deductible? If so, how much of the deductible have I met so far?

• Is there a co-payment?

• Are telehealth appointments covered?

• Ask for their name and reference number
